Yes the above showing my thesaurus at work!
I've spent too long in trying then editing a reply to Caroline and it is worse here now so perhaps we shouldn't post here whilst the forum is being sorted !?
I did find some improvement in that I can see ,sometimes , what I'm typing though I still have to drop the keyboard on this my tablet when trying to edit. Lots of new problems since my last recent posts
I'll now give up until I find a completely new Forum and not this present muddle.
It is my view the whole redesign was to deter critical feedback. There is a need sadly to make the AOHL aware of our needs and no better place to do that than a forum. No regard to issues of accessing the forum is being noted either. Whoever 'designed' the forum is obviously som,e fly by night amateur without web design experience and has not appreciated there are people with issues of basic access when the AOHL lobbies for better access for us everywhere else. Do as we ask not what we do ourselves. The issue was over spamming, is it really necessary to close down 90% of feedback to address that when a moderator can do it instantly? We had the same problem when the RNID re-branded itself into a pink oriented psychedelic nightmare and wasted £1,000s in the process. Then found they still had to keep the Royal thing or lose Kudos, its social media bombed too it was one long begathon and still is. DOH !!!
I am unsure of what your query is here - the email address for our webteam is firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am not sure who you phoned in Glasgow, however the email address I have supplied you with is correct.
Thank you Amy but I cannot understand the webteam address has( hearingloss )in it I had to phone the Glasgow office of hearingloss yesterday when they assured me that as a small charity not really connected else where
Thank you for your post.
We are aware of the issues and problems with the forum and we are currently looking for fixes.
The Web Team are making the fixes, if you have any feedback you would like to put forward please contact them on email@example.com
I agree, fixes are promised and not delivered. This forum is dying which is a real shame as there are some truly nice supportive people on here.
Could AOHL not give use back the older style forum. It wasn’t perfect but at least it worked unlike the present mess.
