Ester Macvey and DWP have included gaging clauses in their new contracts with charities effectively stopping them saying anything adverse about their services, not least the deaths reported due to bad treatment of claimants. Would AOHL care to comment if you have signed the gaging clause?
Maybe not if they have signed the clause too! More grist to the mill is a recent rule passed to prevent advice being given to you about benefits after an MP was blocked by the DWP trying to assist a disabled claimant because in September they installed a rule preventing '3rd parties' from accessing your file, so advice areas could not raise queries or question DWP actions. The real worry is if they extend that 3rd party ruling to every advice group in the UK, including the CAB etc..
Not going to stay long, as this forum is so un-user friendly.
We have repeatedly asked AOHL to campaign on ESA and PIP issues and they have refused to do so. That is despite the fact that, amongst other things, the UN has produced a report saying our human rights are being ignored.
If you want money from the government, you’re not going to bite the hand that feeds you.
We await the answer to the question about whether AOHL has signed this silencing clause.
