I have just been through all the PIP application palaver and within 5 or 6 weeks I get this letter they have all the information they need, does that mean there will be no f2f or does that mean that the DWP has all the information but it will now go to autos or capita and they will process a f2f.
I am non verbal, a fully sign language user and been born deaf from birth, has anyone got this letter and what happened, I just do not trust the DWP paperwork and I do not want to assume there will be no f2f.
My greatest thanks for any replies
Andy’s right, but if they do turn you down, it’s a good idea to appeal, because about three quarters of appeals are winning.
I hate to say this but they may still turn you down. They are making some extremely unfavourable decisions at the moment and a lot of people are having to appeal. So wait and see what turns up in the post.
Thanks for replying, now it's the case of waiting till I am both told how much I am getting and the length I am getting it for, I know this is a stupid question but how long will it take for this infor. To be sent to me, is there a more recent "time limit" for this to happen or has it got quicker?
Yes you are right. You should not get an assessment after this.
I didn't get one either. It is because they have enough evidence to make a decision about your hearing loss without having to bring you in to an interview. I think they should do this for all deaf people really.
I mean, what does it prove? You can sit there and play the idiot for 20 minutes and they wouldn't be any the wiser. Pointless.
