Can anybody offer any advice about insurance for hearing aids. I am looking for insurance for accidental damage, loss and replacement. The only quote that I have had so far is higher than my annual car insurance!
Like Graham I put my HAs on my LV Household insurance policy as a named item (personal possession), with loss and accidental damage everywhere. Again, there was no great increase in premium
Hi Smudge, do you recall what the excess is under your home insurance policy? I'm interested to find out how the various home insurers cater for HA's. Thanks
The policy excess for the HAs, which are listed on the policy under specified items, falls under the all other claims excess of £500, no different to any claim on the policy, apart from subsidence and pedal cycles. This has been the excess on the policy for as long as I can remember.
I hope that this helps.
